Dual victory for AkzoNobel Paints at NASCO 2014

- Indika Chandrawan­sa receives his Silver medal in the Front Line Sales category Upali Ratnayake wins the NASCO Bronze medal in the Territory Manager category

Two members of the AkzoNobel Paints Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. Sales Team were recognised at NASCO 2014 amidst a record number of entries received by the competitio­n to date. The winners, Indika Chandrawan­sa and Upali Ratnayake, were awarded at a festive ceremony celebratin­g Sri Lanka's sales force at Water's Edge recently. Chandrawan­sa won the Silver medal in the Front Line Sales category whilst Ratnayake took Bronze in the Territory Manager category. AkzoNobel owns Dulux, the leading paint brand in Sri Lanka and worldwide.

Attributin­g his team's success to AkzoNobel's core values, Mr. Priya de Mel, National Sales Manager, commented, "AkzoNobel's guiding principles are an inherent part of every individual across our global operation. Silver medal winner Indika Chandrawan­sa has been a part of the Akzo Nobel family for 6 years and has been an outstandin­g member of the sales team. Upali Ratnayake's Bronze medal comes 7 years after he joined the Sales team of the paint and coatings giant. The AkzoNobel sales team is no newcomer to the NASCO Awards stage, with medals being won by its members for 3 years running.
