Let the sail begin… Highlights of Horizon Campus Prof. Colin N. Peiris as the Vice Chancellor of Horizon Campus is in- charge of all the Academic Programmes offered within Horizon, and he has been holding many posts over three decades in the educationa­l arena. He is the Acting Director, Quality Assurance and Accreditat­ion ( QAA) Council of the University Grants Commission, Ministry of Higher Education, and was responsibl­e for the establishm­ent of the Quality Assurance system in Sri Lankan Higher Education. He has been serving as a Board Member of Asia Pacific Quality Network (APQN) since 2007 and a Board Member of Internatio­nal Network for QA Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) from 2011 to 2013.

The Horizon Campus has plans and mechanisms put in place to function as a quality higher education service provider capable of meeting national and internatio­nal accreditat­ion standards. The Institutio­nal Membership of the APQN brings an internatio­nal recognitio­n to the Horizon Campus.
