HSBC continues to offer greater benefits to senior credit cardholders

As seniors look to enjoy healthier, more active lives than ever before, HSBC is pleased to offer senior credit cardholders 55 years and above, many benefits that could enable them to save up to 40% on essential lifestyle products, until 31 March 2015.

James Rebert, Head of Cards, Products and Service, mentioned, "We are happy to launch the second phase of our senior credit cardholder offering that will provide additional benefits to our cardholders, supporting them to live the lifestyle they desire. We have partnered with several merchants to offer special discounts across many relevant categories. We believe this will benefit all our senior cardholders and support them in meeting key day to day expenses."

Senior cardholders will be entitled to a 20% saving at Cargills Supermarkets on essential every- day items, as well as a 5% saving on over the counter (OTC) dietary supplements. In addition, they will also get to enjoy a 5% saving on all pharmaceutical items and vitamins purchased from Health Guard Pharmacies, island-wide.

The new benefit plan also aims to promote good health and wellbeing among this segment with proactive health checks. As such the Bank has partnered with Asiri Hospital Holdings PLC, to offer special discounts at Asiri Hospital, Asiri Surgical Hospital and The Central Hospital on diabetic health check packages, room rates, physiotherapy, CT, MRI, Dexa scan, Ultra sound, xray, lab tests and digital mammogram tests.

In the unforeseen event of sudden hospitalisation, where emer- gency Ayurveda medical treatment is sought, cardholders can look to enjoy a 20% saving at the Siddhalepa Ayurveda Hospital in Mount Lavinia. Furthermore, they can enjoy rejuvenating Ayurveda Spa treatments from Monday to Thursday very affordably with this saving at the Siddhalepa Ayurveda Spa, Colombo 07, Siddhalepa Transit Spa, Katunayake and Siddhalepa Anarwa Spa, Mount Lavinia.

Meeting the lifestyle needs of this segment, HSBC offers special savings at Adidas on footwear as well as vision care optical services on spectacles and sunglasses. To further fulfil their needs, attractive discounts on a selected range of mobile phones such as Nokia, Samsung, Sony, Huawei and LG are offered at Airtel Brand stores, island-wide. To be eligible for the offer, senior cardholders will need to purchase a prepaid Airtel connection for as low as 153 rupees with their HSBC Credit Card.

Having partnered with Singer Mega, Singer Plus, Sisil World and Singer Homes, HSBC aims to pass on more rewarding benefits on a range of electronic and household products, to its senior cardholders.
