Sri Lanka is targeting to reach USD 5 billion worth of IT exports by the year 2022 and create over 250,000 employment opportunities in the IT industry. This project was thus born out of the need to fill the current knowledge gap and ensure that a well trained workforce is on hand to help the nation achieve this objective.

The Diploma in Information Technology offered by ESOFT is already the most popular entry-level, IT course in the island thanks to its availability through a wide reaching network of 45 branches. Today, IT is a key life skill which is in high demand by employers everywhere. So whether you are just after A/Ls, awaiting university entrance, studying as an undergraduate or even working in a non-IT field, this course can help you build the necessary awareness and skills to face the challenges of living in an increasingly technology-centric world. Scholarships will be awarded based on the results of an IQ test and there is no age limit for application.

Going from strength to strength since the year 2000, ESOFT has a strong commitment to corporate and national sustainability and has been awarded the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Certification.
