Flying High @ Indian Hills
in America, and provided more information about universities and colleges in USA. I found them highly reliable, trustworthy, and professional in their service. In fact, they responded to my queries promptly and provided great many offers from different colleges. Moreover, I was given the opportunity to communicate with the coordinators of the college via email. I chose Indian Hills Community College as it was highly affordable.
Pursuing my journey in the USA was a completely different experience. Stepping into the United States, meeting new friends, and building up an academic career were the challenges I had to accomplish. However, Indian Hills Community College helped me in achieving these. To enumerate, the college is located in the beautiful state of Iowa, and has a diverse community. It is also one of the regionally accredited community colleges in the United States. Students may have the opportunity to transfer their credits to a four-year university. For this reason, I am truly thankful about my choice. I was quite surprised seeing the way the classes were conducted. The professors are very supportive, and have been constantly encouraging students to progress further. Additionally, students could refer to the resources provided in the college itself, including the library or the academic success center, if ever they need help in their studies. I am currently in the midst of my stay at the Hills and have, however, been able to achieve a cumulative GPA greater than 3.5. Furthermore, I was being nominated to the Dean’s List multiple times. My stay at Indian Hills CC have been tough, yet challenging, and am enjoying every little aspect in college. I have been working in the Academic Success Center, and as peer tutor in Accounting during the week.
Equally important, the college has a huge number of student clubs where students could get involved in whilst pursu- ing their education. I am actively involved in the Business Club, Science Club, The Academy, and the International Student Organization. A student may gain numerous opportunities the more he or she is involved in. As an illustration, I had the opportunity to compete in Business Professionals of America state competitions and was awarded the first in College Accounting in the beautiful state of Iowa. I also received more medals in other events, and I will be paying my way to the National Leadership Conferences in May. Likewise, the clubs have been offering many fun activities, including trips for students to interact and enjoy their stay at the Hills.
During my stay, the USA has provided me endless opportunities; moreover, the experience I gained is immense. I was also being introduced to an American family through the International friendship program to interact and learn about the culture. The exposure was, indeed, amazing,
