Only at HRMI: Certificate in HR with Psychology

-

HRMI is reputed for offering globally recognised courses of study from respected UK institutions with pathways leading to Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees. All courses offered by HRMI are directly linked to enable the students to be employable and specifically designed to enhance job related competencies. In the latest wave of development, HRMI has introduced Psychology as a mandatory course module to the Certificate in HR programme which provides very useful insights for potential HR professionals to learn Psychology and connect human behaviour with HR. This is the first instance where psychology has been included in a HR Certificate course as a major component. The addition of Psychology not only enriches the learning but also opens up a totally new dimension in HR studies. The students will be exposed to Counselling and Organisational Psychology which could lead to many new opportunities in employment and practice.

The Certificate in HR with Psychology is open for students with GCE O/L and provides a seamless pathway to pursue the internationally recognised Pearson Assured Diploma in HR as well as the BSc degree in Business and Management from University of Derby in UK. This course has been opened for school children studying in the A/L classes as well as for those who are employed.

This course could be perceived as the first step on a much respected professional pathway for school children who look for alternatives to traditional university education. In an era where less than 10% of the students who sit the Advanced Level examination ultimately secure university admission, pursuit of credible alternative professional pathways is an intelligent choice. Exploring alternative higher education pathways could be of interest whilst studying for A/Ls and going to school. Parents who would have the foresight to understand the reality should be on the lookout for reliable and employment focused professional courses children could pursue parallel to their Advanced Level studies. This strategy will enable a child to commence professional education while going to school and being engaged in academic and extra-curricular activities.

What do parents and children have to look when it comes to professional education? (1) Qualification must be respected and recognised, (2) Qualification must provide progression opportunities (3) Qualification content must be comprehensive and delivered by qualified professionals (4) Qualification must be linked for employment (5) Qualification provider must have a holistic perspective for student development. At HRMI, all these prerequisites are addressed. Most importantly students after O/Ls could embark on a pathway that will seamlessly lead to a Degree or Diploma which can be completed within a definite and predictable period of time.

All HRMI qualifications are linked to Pearson Edexcel UK. Edexcel UK is the world’s largest qualification awarding institution which is well known for London – O/Ls, A/Ls, HNCs, HNDs, etc. Edexcel qualifications are conducted in 110 countries and accepted by universities all over the world.
