World Education Fair 2016 – Quadruple Success!!
The World Education Fair 2016 held on 4th June 2016 at the Hilton Colombo turned out to be a tremendous success, making it the most sought after education exhibitions of the year.
As per the fourth consecutive year, the ‘World Education Fair 2016’ has been successfully organized to be the leading event of its kind for students who aspire to gain the qualifications of their choice at a ranked international university.
This year, the exhibition featured representatives of highly reputed universities from the UK, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Malaysia, Singapore, Switzerland & Germany; creating a highway to the world of higher education!
For this fair the roster of representatives included the likes of Deakin University, Southern Cross University, Cambridge International College from Australia, Coventry University, Nottingham Trent University, Bath Spa University, Liverpool John Moores University, University of Sunderland, London South Bank University, Plymouth University from the UK, Ntec and IPU from New Zealand, Claremont University, University of NebraskaLincoln, Brandeis International Business School, University of St. Thomas from the USA, Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS), Amity University from Singapore, International Academy of Students in Germany, Sevanan Business School in Switzerland, Melaka Manipal and SEGi Universities from Malaysia and St. Georges University, Grenada made an appearance.
The event attracted students from every corner of the island and all visitors to the exhibition spoke approvingly as they were able to get firsth and, reliable and factual information. It was definitely an informative and interactive platform for them to discuss their study options overseas with the university representatives. Students and parents streamed into the event throughout the day and interacted freely with the international university representatives acquiring information about all aspects of studying overseas. They gained the benefits of all possible options available by exploring study options offered to them by internationally accredited universities and higher education institutes. Some of the most asked questions by students and parent were about career opportunities, accommodation and living costs and financial requirements with regard to studying abroad. In addition, information on Visa processes, spot admissions, scholarships and student loan facilities were some additional support received by them.
