World Education Fair 2016 – Quadruple Success!!

The World Education Fair 2016 held on 4th June 2016 at the Hilton Colombo turned out to be a tremendous success, making it the most sought after education exhibition­s of the year.

As per the fourth consecutiv­e year, the ‘World Education Fair 2016’ has been successful­ly organized to be the leading event of its kind for students who aspire to gain the qualificat­ions of their choice at a ranked internatio­nal university.

This year, the exhibition featured representa­tives of highly reputed universiti­es from the UK, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Malaysia, Singapore, Switzerlan­d & Germany; creating a highway to the world of higher education!

For this fair the roster of representa­tives included the likes of Deakin University, Southern Cross University, Cambridge Internatio­nal College from Australia, Coventry University, Nottingham Trent University, Bath Spa University, Liverpool John Moores University, University of Sunderland, London South Bank University, Plymouth University from the UK, Ntec and IPU from New Zealand, Claremont University, University of NebraskaLi­ncoln, Brandeis Internatio­nal Business School, University of St. Thomas from the USA, Management Developmen­t Institute of Singapore (MDIS), Amity University from Singapore, Internatio­nal Academy of Students in Germany, Sevanan Business School in Switzerlan­d, Melaka Manipal and SEGi Universiti­es from Malaysia and St. Georges University, Grenada made an appearance.

The event attracted students from every corner of the island and all visitors to the exhibition spoke approvingl­y as they were able to get firsth and, reliable and factual informatio­n. It was definitely an informativ­e and interactiv­e platform for them to discuss their study options overseas with the university representa­tives. Students and parents streamed into the event throughout the day and interacted freely with the internatio­nal university representa­tives acquiring informatio­n about all aspects of studying overseas. They gained the benefits of all possible options available by exploring study options offered to them by internatio­nally accredited universiti­es and higher education institutes. Some of the most asked questions by students and parent were about career opportunit­ies, accommodat­ion and living costs and financial requiremen­ts with regard to studying abroad. In addition, informatio­n on Visa processes, spot admissions, scholarshi­ps and student loan facilities were some additional support received by them.
