ACCA offers a special exemptions scheme for AAT passed finalists

The Associatio­n of Chartered Certified Accountant­s (ACCA) Sri Lanka, a member of the fastest growing accountanc­y body in the world, has initiated a special scheme to offer exemptions to AAT passed finalists.

Under this exemption scheme, AAT passed finalists will be able to complete the ACCA qualificat­ion in a much shorter period of time and be able to claim exemptions upto the first 3 papers of ACCA.

The total exemption Fee waived off will amount to £ 216. In addition to the exemption fee waiver, £ 59 will also be waived off from the Initial Registrati­on Fee. Hence passed finalists will only have to pay £ 20 as an Initial Registrati­on Fee.

Obtaining the ACCA qualificat­ion coupled with the AAT qualificat­ion will be a powerful combinatio­n of qualificat­ions that will helpadd more value to their portfolio and put them in high demand with employers.

In addition, upon gaining the ACCA qualificat­ion they will also be able to utilize the further benefits offered through ACCA by having the opportunit­y to study for the prestigiou­s BSc (Hons) Degree in Applied Accounting, from Oxford Brookes University, UK. This benefit is available exclusivel­y to ACCA students who wish to obtain a degree while progressin­g with the ACCA Qualificat­ion.
