Kaikawala Central Under-15 lads amass 551 for 4
Matale Kaikawala Central juniors amassed most probably to be a junior school record, when they scored a mammoth 551 for 4 against Haththotuwa Amuna MV Laggala in their U 15 division 3 Cricket encounter played at Sri Naga National School ground at Naula.
Weighing in to make this mammoth effort for Kaikawala Central were wicket-keeper batsman Dilshan Tharaka who top scored with 186, inclusive of 19 boundaries and 2 sixes and another knock of 131 by Sachintha Weerasooriya who hit 17 fours and 3 sixes.
