English medium Scholarships on offer in Vietnam Universities

The International School of Thai Nguyen University (ISTNU) in Vietnam is offering scholarships and admissions to international students, who wish to study in English medium undergraduate programmes.

The ISTNU has programmes including Life Sciences, Social Sciences, Management, Economics and International Relations. Overseas students are invited to apply for 3 subjects, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of International Business, Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Accounting & Finance. Students are eligible to apply for only one academic subject. Closing dates for applications via postal and email are July 10 for the autumn semester and December 1 for the spring semester.

Undergraduate courses have adopted ‘Imported Advanced Programs’ from leading universities in the UK. Graduands will receive a recognised qualification from UK universities and ISTNU.

Applicants must have finished high school, be of good heath, physically fit, non-Vietnamese and obtained a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) certificate. Those without proficiency in English language will be required to undertake a year’s English language foundation course at ISTNU.

Awarding of full Scholarships for tuition fee and accommodation shall be based on Grade Point Average (GPA) of above 80% and 50% scholarships shall be awarded on an average 70% to 80%.

Students also have the option of finishing their final year at affiliated UK universities. Academic courses are 4 years full time in Vietnam or 3 years in Vietnam and 1 year in the UK.
