Developing Communication Skills with Activities and Fun

An exciting demonstration in Public Speaking was witnessed recently at the Global Towers hotel. The participants were professional and youth who successfully completed the 30 hour advanced training in Public Speaking for Leadership and Personality Development, conducted by the Rainbow Institute of Communication and English. The Rainbow Institute established up three years ago, has become a highly sought after center for excellence in Public Speaking and development of Communication Skills in English.

The Public Speaking Interactive Evening and Certificates Awards ceremony, held at Global Towers Hotel, was witnessed by family members and colleagues of the participants and representatives of Rainbow Institute’s corporate clientele.

The highlight of the event was a participatory session on critical thinking and impromptu speaking, conducted by the Director of the Public Speaking course, eminent academic DrMahimMendis, , who is well known as a powerful public speaker.

The Chief Guest, Mr Stephen Paulraj, Sales Capability Manager, Fonterra Brands who himself is an accomplished public speaker and trainer, inspired the audience with his motivational speech on how to challenge oneself and go beyond the limits. He congratulated the Rainbow Institute for the work it is doing to empower professionals and youth with communication skills.

The Rainbow Institute is now enrolling participants for its’ popular annual public speaking seminar. The theme of this year’s interactive training seminar is “Public Speaking Accelerator’. It is scheduled for Thursday, 4 August, 2016 at the Galadari Hotel.

Enrollment is also now on for the Cambridge Business English training on Wednesday evenings or Sunday mornings, starting on 27 July.

The Rainbow Institute is also enrolling children for the Saturday afternoon sessions of its’ popular public speaking and leadership 30 hour training for children who are fluent in English. The afternoon classes, start on Saturday 23 July. A few vacancies remain.

The fun – filled annual holiday camp for children, “Kids Creative Communication Camp”, is scheduled for 23-25, August. This offers an enjoyable learning experience for children as they engage in hand work, musical theatre, public speaking and exercise to bring out their unique talents and develop their creativity, personalities, public speaking and leadership skills.
