A new chapter in the Nawaloka - Swinburne partnership
The Deputy Chairman of the Nawaloka College of Higher Studies (NCHS), Victor Ramanan, has taken over the helm of NCHS as the new CEO. “The Swinburne partnership with Nawaloka is very strong and we are very happy with this development” said Tim Field, Associate Director, Business Development, Swinburne University of Technology.
Field expressing his delight at this strategic move also stated that while Swinburne has numerous partnerships globally, the commitment by Nawaloka ensures that it is one of the strongest partnerships that Swinburne enjoys. “Nawaloka and Swinburne work closely in accordance to one another and this results in high quality results for the students and the partnership” Field stated.
High Quality Education
“When Swinburne expressed interest in starting up in Sri Lanka, we met several potential providers who were interested in partnering. Nawaloka was selected due to its reputation and commitment to quality.” Field explained.
“The Nawaloka group is aware of the need to continuously uphold its reputation. This is done entirely through the attention to quality. This has been the commitment given to Swinburne” Ramanan said.
NCHS has a record number of students for the June intake. It was explained that the numbers are a clear indicator of the development of NCHS as well as the strength of the partnership.
Exciting Future Plans
“Post graduate qualifications are in the pipeline. We are also working hard to enable full in country delivery of programmes” Mr. Ramanan said when discussing his plans for the future of NCHS.
“We are looking at adding more partners in select locations around the world via the partnership with Swinburne” Mr. Ramanan said. This will expand the global reach of NCHS and give students a plethora of options to select from when considering their higher education he explained in conclusion.
