From 3rd to 11th September, “The Culinary Capital of Colombo” The Kingsbury will be taking you on a spicy culinary journey through Mexico and here to guide you is one of its renowned ambassadors, Chef Gabriela Ruiz Lugo. Hailing from the birth place of Cocoa, Tabasco, Mexico, Chef Gabriella’s talent has seen her achieved culinary stardom in Mexico. Chef Gabriella imprints her own touch of innovation, tenacity, and freshness that has seen her win numerous accolades including the national award “Rescate de la cocina prehispanica mexicana (Rescue of the prehispanic Mexican Cuisine)” in 2007, “La nueva cocina yucateca (The new Yucatecan cuisine)” in 2010 and the coveted title of “Young Master” at Millesimé Mexico 2015. Today, she runs her own restaurant in Tabasco, Mexico called Gourmet MX.
To showcase the very best of Mexican flavours Chef Gabriella has prepared a very special gourmet Mexican menu, complete with authentic ingredients.
