A CSR initiative from Study World Lanka Campus–(University of Bolton Academic Centre Sri Lanka).

University of Bolton Academic Centre Sri Lankaorganizes “Youth Empowerment Programme” to be held on 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 13th, 14th, 15th,16th&17thof September 2016 covering ten main cities inSri Lanka, targeting students who have completed their A/Ls. Study World Lanka Campus was established in Sri Lanka in year 2010 as a BOI Approved venture and it is currently invested by The Study World Education Holding Ltd, UAE.It was established with a clear purpose of serving human development and socioeconomic advancement while uplifting the quality of life through education and research.

Study World Lanka Campus is providing wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for the students who have completed their A/Ls in the domain of Business Management, Computing, Engineering and Tourism Management. In addition Study World Lanka Campus has opened the opportunities for students to complete their higher education in 26 branches of the Study World Holding and University of Bolton around the world.

The Youth Empowerment Programme (YEP) is to be held Island wide with the crys- tal intention of empowering recent school leaversby providing direction &ambitiousness. YEP ismaking them tofind and refine skills & competencies required to win modern Job market.

Study World Lanka Campus is ambitious in promoting creativity, innovation, leadership, and self-direction bearing right attitudes in young minds. Furthermore, this would encourage students to take up short and long term education experience to fulfil their future employment objectives despite their eligibility to enter State Universities or not.Efforts are to create an entrepreneurial nation who can directly contribute for the socio economic advancement of country as a return for 13 years of free education.

YEP to be decorated by invaluable presence ofMr. Eranga Weeramanthri (CEO Study World Lanka Campus) Senior Professor S.R.D Rosa(Faculty of Physical Science – University of Colombo), Dr. Anil Jayantha Fernando (Faculty of Accountancy - University of Sri Jayewardenepura),Mr. KeerthiRajapakshe (Advocate), Dr. Aminda Perera (Faculty of Management – University of Wayamba),Mr. Janaka Herath (Director – Creative Educational Programmes),Dr. Aruna Shantha Gamage (Department of HRM -University of Sri Jayewardenepura) Prof. Kennedy Gunawardena (Chairman JEDB), Prof. Ranjith Perera (Faculty of Engineering – University of Moratuwa)Mr. Shanaka De Silva (Director IT E & Y)senior managers and recruitment managers, inspirational speakers & consultants from renowned private & public sector organizations will join as resource personnel.Event is decorated by classical musical extravaganza “SakmanSadha” with Wisharadha Shantha Jayalath Thisera, Mr. Senarath Kariyawasam (Senior Lecturer Faculty of Sinhala - University of Peradeniya) with the participation of popular singers which is used to inspire young minds with strong aims & targets while enriching them with pleasing attitudes.

This YEP will help the students who have completed their A/Ls inMaths, Bio science, Arts,Commerce and Technology to identify the path for their deserved career.

Study World Lanka Campus staff with various other supporting parties such as Star Marks, Sath Jana foundation&Lithira Education service are currently makingall the arrangements to make these 10 events one of the most memorable days in students’ life.Study World Lanka Campus and all the other sponsors are willing to announce lucrative scholarships, discounts, gifts and certificates for the children successfully completingYEP.

This is purely a CSR event, as such all students are be participate free of charge, upon prior registration with us through schools or direct. The parents are also welcome for theevents happening around Sri Lanka and stay throughout the programme with prior approval.
