Abans introduces SKETCHERS
ABANS PLC, one of the top trusted and renowned brands in Sri Lanka, has been announced as the sole distributor for a global leader in performance and lifestyle footwear -- SKECHERS.
The first flagship SKECHERS store was officially launched on Saturday, 27th August at the Colombo Racecourse Grandstand, an upscale and contemporary shopping district that is immensely popular with both local consumers and tourists.
General Manager, SKECHERS Singapore, Mrs. Zann Lee, along with Mrs. Aban Pestonjee, Chairperson, Abans Group, Ms. Tanaz Pestonjee, Director, ABSTRACT Lanka, and Sudarshana Muthuthanthri, Captain, Sri Lankan National Rugby Team formally opened the store.
Tito Pestonjee, Managing Director, ABANS PLC, further provided a brief introduction on the SKECHERS brand, remarking that the product range is both “ultra comfortable and ultra stylish.”
The store launch was followed by a fashion show that featured models wear- ing the sport and performance, lifestyle, work, and kids’ ranges currently being offered at the SKECHERS store.
