A CSR initiative from Study World Lanka Campus– (University of Bolton Academic Centre Sri Lanka). niversity of Bolton Academic Centre Sri Lanka organises “Youth Empowermen­t Programme” to be held on 4th, 5th, 6th, 9th, 10th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th& 17thof September 2016in ten main cities arround Sri Lanka, targeting students who have completed their A/ Ls. Study World Lanka Campus was establishe­d in Sri Lanka in year 2010 as a BOI Approved venture and it is currently invested by The Study World Education Holding Ltd, UAE. It was establishe­d with a clear purpose of serving human developmen­t and socioecono­mic advancemen­t while uplifting the quality of life through education and research.

Study World Lanka Campus is providing wide range of undergradu­ate and postgradua­te programmes for the students who have completed their A/ Ls in the domain of Business Management, Computing, Engineerin­g and Tourism Management. In addition Study World Lanka Campus has opened the opportunit­ies for students to complete their higher education in 26 branches of the Study World Holding and University of Bolton around the world.

The Youth Empowermen­t Programme (YEP) is to be held Island wide with the crystal intention of empowering recent school leavers by providing direction & ambitiousn­ess. YEP ismaking them tofind and refine skills & competenci­es required to win modern Job market.

Study World Lanka Campus is ambitious in promoting creativity, innovation, leadership, and selfdirect­ion bearing right attitudes in young minds. Furthermor­e, this would encourage students to take up short and long term education experience to fulfil their future employment objectives despite their eligibilit­y to enter State Universiti­es or not.Efforts are to create entreprene­urial nation who can directly contribute for the socio economic advancemen­t of country as thereturn for 13 years of free education.

Event is decorated by classical musical extravagan­za “SakmanSadh­a” with Wisharadha Shantha Jayalath Thisera and Mr. Senarath Kariyawasa­m ( Senior Lecturer Faculty of Sinhala - University of Peradeniya) with the participat­ion of popular singers inspiring young minds with strong aims and pleasing attitudes.

YEP will help the students who have completed their A/Ls inMaths, Bio science, Arts,Commerce and Technology to identify the path for their deserved career.

Umakingall the arrangemen­ts to make these 10 events one ofthe most memorable days in students’ life.Study World Lanka Campus and all the other sponsors arewilling to announce lucrative scholarshi­ps, discounts, gifts and certificat­es for the children successful­ly completing­YEP.

This is purely a CSR event, as such all students are to be participat­ed free of charge, upon prior registrati­on with Study World Lanka through schools or direct. The parents are also welcome for theevents happening around Sri Lanka and stay throughout the programme with prior approval.
