I had been to the US and Australia before with my parents because they’re doctors and go to conferences. I preferred the people and environment in Australia. For biomedical engineering, it was between the University of Sydney and another uni in Sydney. The University of Sydney has a better ranking degree and the duration is four years, instead of five like other unis.
Biomedical engineering is the engineering side of medicine. It’s about machines, artificial organs and limbs, to robotics and making new cells. There are robotic arms that you can actually connect to the nerves. Last semester, we had an industry project which was almost like an industry placement!
