Abdul Rahman, beloved husband of Thoopathul Hapeera, father of late Ruzaicka and of Rikaz, father-in-law of Sabry Meeran and Fazla Fazal, brother of Fauz Razak, Faiza Jaufer, Anul Athas, Hinaya Hanisdeen, Maleeha Buharie and Kuraisha Jalaldeen passed away on 31.08.2016. The burial took place at the Battaramulla Muslim Burial Grounds on 01.09.2016 at 8.00 am.
