Transformi­ng the taste from mere two buds to a premium beverage for over 70 internatio­nal destinatio­ns is an achievemen­t that deserves recognitio­n. In recognisin­g the true commitment, Anverally & Sons won the most coveted award for “Highest Value Added Exporter - Tea Sector” for year 2015, at the recently concluded Presidenti­al Export Awards.

The Presidenti­al Export Award is the highest form of recognitio­n given to an exporter for his contributi­on towards the growth of the national economy. The award ceremony was organised by the Export Developmen­t Board (EDB) and the occasion was graced by His Excellency The President Maithripal­a Sirisena, The Minister of Plantation­s Honorable Navin Dissanayak­a and several other ministers and dignitarie­s.

“This award recognises the dedication and commitment that my team and I have achieved in ensuring that our customers receive the best quality tea at a competitiv­e price,” said Mohamed Anverally, Chairman of Anverally & Sons (Pvt) Ltd relaying his thoughts on the accomplish­ment of the company. “In all our tea exports the highest standards are sustained to guarantee that only the premium leaves, highest quality packing materials and ingredient­s are used.”
