The World Champion of Public Speaking is Coming to Sri Lanka making his first overseas visit

The world champion of Public speaking, a competitio­n organized by Toastmaste­rs internatio­nal has raised many champions since 1938 .This year the title was won by a young Singaporea­n Darren Tay Wen Jie who has been bright enough to get his hands on this prestigiou­s award competing with over 30,000 participan­ts. Commencing from the club level, then proceeding to the Area, Division, District contests and finally to the internatio­nal contest of public speaking where Darren has shown his remarkable talents becoming the first, competing over 10 rounds.

Omega Line Toastmaste­rs Club of Sri Lanka taking the initiative is excited to announce the arrival of the World champion of public speaking 2016 – Darren Tay who has chosen Sri Lanka as his first overseas audience. “Express to Impress” by Darren Tay will be held on 17th of September at Galadari Hotel, Colombo from 6.00 pm onwards. Be a witness for this great educationa­l and entertaini­ng event which could be once in a life time opportunit­y. Darren will be in Sri Lanka from 17th to 20th of September to enjoy the hospitalit­y of Sri Lankans.

The Omega Line Toastmaste­rs Club is a dedicated corporate Toastmaste­rs club which consists of over 80 members and has raised many Area Directors, a Division Director and many champions at club level, area and division level.
