Little Flower Convent, Bandarawela, presently known as Kuda Kusum Balika Maha Vidyalaya began as a private school in 1927 with just seven students and five teachers under Rev. Mother Mary Casilda who was the first Principal. It functioned as a private mixed school and was upgraded to a higher secondary school in 1956. The School was taken over by Government in the year 1971 and was declared as a grade 2 Secondary School in 1978. Then in 1979 it was placed under group C and classified as a MahaVidyalaya and converted to National School. The School which commenced with just seven students presently has over two thousand students.

The motto “Diriyawadaw Daruwani Diriyawadaw” has given immense inspiration to the past and present students.

Under guidance of dedicated Principals and Teachers, the students of the School have excelled in their studies and also outshined in many co- curricular and extracurricular activities.

Many activities have been planned the back to school programme for Students, Principals and Teachers. The organizers kindly request all the past pupils to join this great event.
