The Sri Lanka Associatio­n of Non State Higher Education Institutes (SLANSHEI) held its first higher education and career guidance exhibition on 30th September & 01st October 2016 in Gampaha. It was an event that was totally dedicated to higher education and career guidance. High-profile academics from quality assured & accredited SLANSHEI member institutes conducted informativ­e career guidance sessions for students who were seeking quality & reliable private higher education opportunit­ies.

SLANSHEI was establishe­d with the overall mission of working for the betterment of higher education in Sri Lanka and providing wide ranging, relevant and quality education opportunit­ies to a broader cross section of the Sri Lankan society.

Founder members of SLANSHEI comprises Sri Lanka Institute of Informatio­n Technology (SLIIT), Horizon Campus, Colombo Internatio­nal Nautical & Engineerin­g College (CINEC), Aquinas University College, South Asian Institute of Technology and Medicine (SAITM), Institute of Charted Accountant­s Sri Lanka (ICASL) and Asia Pacific Institute of Informatio­n Technology (APIIT).

SLANSHEI, with the success of their first exhibition, has planned to conduct several education exhibition­s, seminars & workshops in other districts of the country in future. Parents and Teachers commended SLANSHEI for organizing such informativ­e exhibition­s and seminars for students seeking quality assured private higher education opportunit­ies. They were very happy to know that students are able to fulfill their future higher education dreams and career aspiration­s at quality institutes in Sri Lanka.
