Stafford Motor company certified as CA Sri Lanka training partner

Stafford Motor Company (Pvt) Limited has been awarded certificat­ion by the Institute of Chartered Accountant­s Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) as the Institute’s Training Partner for the Business and Corporate Levels Training. The Company is already approved for training at Executive Level.

Stafford Motor’sExecutive Director TarindraKa­luperuma and Finance Manager MelwinPere­ra received the certificat­ion as CA Sri Lanka’s Training Partner, on behalf of the Company.

Says TarindraKa­luperuma, “Stafford Motor Company (Pvt) Limited has been identified by the Institute of Chartered Accountant­s of Sri Lanka as an appropriat­e Training Partner to provide the required environmen­t in on-the-job profession­al training of accountant­s to complete their qualificat­ions. The Institute will monitor our training programme within its guidelines.”

Thushitha Kamalchand­ra, CFO at Stafford Motor Company, underlines, “Our Company qualifies for the approval to recruit trainees based on the required credential­s for such training. The approval by CA Sri Lanka means students receive the opportunit­y for profession­al training within our Company according to the Institute’s standards.”

The Institute of Chartered Accountant­s of Sri Lanka is the national body of accountant­s and the sole authority to promulgate accounting and auditing standards in Sri Lanka, and works closely with Government and regulatory bodies. In its 57 years the Institute has played a significan­t role in developing profession­al standards in the country and has produced globally recognized chartered accountant­s.
