CMA Sri Lanka Digital Learning launched at Budget Highlights to Create Digital Economy

CMA Sri Lanka Digital Learning consisting of e-learning and video lectures was launched by Hon. Ravi Karunanaya­ke Minister of Finance at the CMA Budget Highlights in keeping with the Budget Proposals 2017 to create a Digital Economy.

All students and those employed in the Private and Public sector, who enrol on or before 15th December 2016 will be provided Digital learning free of charge and will be available anytime, anywhere (24 x 7) and both e-learning and video lectures can be accessed usingboth Mobile Phones and Tabs.

CMA set up with the technical assistance of CMA Canada (now CPA Canada) and incorporat­ed by Act of Parliament is an affordable Profession­al Accounting Qualificat­ion. CMA has launched Digital Learning Free of Charge to students after A/L, graduates and undergradu­ates, HNDA and Technical College students, those with part profession­al accounting qualificat­ions, those in employment in an accounting field in the private and public sector, University lecturers and School Teachers, all A/L students receiving Tabs with the objective of promoting inclusive education and to make it freely available to allwho are looking at Career Progressio­n and will also be provided to all Schools, Universiti­es, Technical Colleges and all Institutes of Higher Education.
