Commencing from January 2017, RMIT will offer their Engineerin­g degrees in a unique partnershi­p with SAITM Faculty of Engineerin­g, where students can complete the first 2 years of study at SAITM with the benefit of the home comforts.

The Faculty of Engineerin­g at SAITM is the pioneering and the leading non-state sector institute of engineerin­g in Sri Lanka. Since its inception in 2009, SAITM offered four year full- time B.Sc. in Eng. degree programs in Mechatroni­cs, Electronic­s, Industrial and Civil Engineerin­g discipline­s, with a proven track record in conducting high quality degree programs. To date, more than 500 undergradu­ate students have entered into successful careers worldwide, both in industry and academia, through SAITM Engineerin­g degree programs. The 9th intake of students for engineerin­g degree programs will commence their undergradu­ate studies at SAITM Faculty of Engineerin­g in January 2017.
