Commencing from January 2017, RMIT will offer their Engineering degrees in a unique partnership with SAITM Faculty of Engineering, where students can complete the first 2 years of study at SAITM with the benefit of the home comforts.

The Faculty of Engineering at SAITM is the pioneering and the leading non-state sector institute of engineering in Sri Lanka. Since its inception in 2009, SAITM offered four year full- time B.Sc. in Eng. degree programs in Mechatronics, Electronics, Industrial and Civil Engineering disciplines, with a proven track record in conducting high quality degree programs. To date, more than 500 undergraduate students have entered into successful careers worldwide, both in industry and academia, through SAITM Engineering degree programs. The 9th intake of students for engineering degree programs will commence their undergraduate studies at SAITM Faculty of Engineering in January 2017.
