Thanuj guides POW to the title

An allround performanc­e by Thanuj Kavishan paved the way for Prince of Wales ‘B’ to come out victorious against St Peter’s ‘B’ in the final of the Under 13 Division Two cricket tournament final played at Thurstan ground.

Thanuj’s unbeaten knock of 41 followed by a four wicket haul ensured the Cambrian juniors a victory by points to emerge champions.

Prince of Wales tak- ing first lease of the wicket ended their innings of 64 overs that they bat with a score of 154 for 7 while the Peterite juniors in reply lost wickets at regular intervals and ended the day with a score of 79 for 9.
