The admission requiremen­t for the Computing undergradu­ate degrees is three passes at the G.C.E A/L examinatio­n (Sri Lanka / London) in one and the same sitting and a pass at the aptitude test conducted by SLIIT. For Computer Systems and Networking, applicants must have a pass in Mathematic­s or physics. Students who have obtained three passes in the A/L Engineerin­g Technology stream are also eligible to apply for the Computer Systems and Networking programme.

Students have the option of completing their degrees either in Sri Lanka or at the respective partner university” commented Prof. Lalith Gamage, President and CEO SLIIT.

Enhancing its foreign ties, SLIIT recently partnered with Liverpool John Moores University; one of the largest universiti­es in the UK. This recent collaborat­ion gives students the opportunit­y to either study Architectu­re or Quantity Surveying.

The complete study of architectu­re will require 03 years of full time education. The degree will cover areas ranging from Architectu­ral design, Environmen­t urbanism, CAD and Constructi­on Technology. Students interested in enrolling in the programme will require minimum 3 passes at the G.C.E A/L examinatio­n (Sri Lanka / London).

Quantity surveying is one of the most sought after degree programmes in Sri Lanka due to the immense constructi­on projects. This three year degree programme which is awarded by Liverpool John Moores University will cover subject area ranging from measuremen­t, estimating and costing. Students interested in enrolling in the programme will require minimum 3 passes at the G.C.E A/L examinatio­n (Sri Lanka / London).
