ICBS commences classes for the skills level of the ACCA qualification

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification is a globally recognized accountancy qualification that has embedded the global accounting education standards set by the International Federation of Accountants, and is today one of the most valued professional qualifications for finance managers, accountants, and auditors. With a strong focus on professional values, ethics and governance, it is a badge of quality and professionalism, that ensures the knowledge and skills gained are of the highest professional standards that encourages a lifelong approach to learning .

ICBS, as one of ACCA’s leading, “Learning Partners” in Sri Lanka, now commences classes for the ACCA Skills Module for September 2017 exams. Covering the main technical areas that accountants are expected to know, the Skills module covers a curriculum that comprises Corporate and Business Law, Performance Management, Taxation, Financial Reporting, Audit and Assurance and Financial Management. The knowledge and skills developed in these subject areas, is of a level of knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree.
