St. John’s makes a modest 207

The first day’s play of the Singer Under- 19 Division II Inter- Schools League final saw St. John’s Panadura invited to take lease of the making a modest score of 207 against St. Thomas' Matara played at the Surrey Village ground in Maggona.

The Johnians score came on the back of a knock of 59 by Kavindu Hashan and two useful contributions coming from Sithum Thelge and Rukshan Dissanayake.

St. Thomas' in their turn facing 12 overs ended the day on 33 for no loss. The match will be continued today.
