Our Lady’s inaugural Upper School batch sit GCE O/L exam

Our Lady’s Primary School, with a history of 170 years, launched its Upper School on June 17, 2011, and its first batch sat the GCE (O/L) exam in December last year.

The first batch came out with flying colours, with as many as 105 of the 115 students passing the exam.

Of the 84 who sat the exam in Sinhala, 78 passed the exam, while, of the 31 students who did the exam in Tamil, 27 passed the exam.

Nine students obtained 9 ‘A’s, while 12 students had 8 ‘A’s.

The principal of the school is Rev Sr Mary Priyangani, who operates under Rev Fr Shivantha Rodrigo as it's Director . Pix by Shelton Hettiarach­chi.
