Raffles Design Institute “Saviskara” Graduation Ceremony, Fashion Show May 2017

Raffles Design institute Colombo, the premier Design Education provider in Sri Lanka, will be holding its 4th Graduation Ceremony, Exhibition and Fashion runway event on Friday the 5th of May 2017, at the Grand Ballroom of the Ramada Hotel Colombo. The Ceremony will be an exciting milestone event for Raffles as we will see the Graduation of the second group of students who have earned their Bachelor of Design Degrees awarded by Raffles College of Design and Commerce (RCDC), Australia. The Bachelor of Design Degrees awarded include majors in Fashion Design, Fashion Marketing, Multimedia Design, Graphic design, and Interior Design. Students who have successfully completed their Advanced Diploma in our Design programs will also receive their awards at this event.

The Fashion Marketing graduates will show their implementation of marketing principles and practices into product development, while Interior Design graduate will show their design innovations geared towards interior spaces. The Graphic Design and Multimedia Designers will showcase their unique and creativity in the areas of graphics, illustration and animation &

the Fashion Runway show will showcase the final collections of the graduating Fashion Design students accenting their unique talents and capabilities in conceptualizing and creating Women’s-Wear and Men’s- Wear collections.

The graduation ceremony itself will be lead by Prof. Dr. Graeme Britton who is the President of Raffles University System and Raffles University, Iskandar, a part of Raffles Education Corporation network in Asia, Europe and USA.
