The UWS MBA offers Sri Lanka’s first future ready digital classroom

Embracing the emerging frontier of Digital Learning, ICBS, one of the fastest growing education providers in Sri Lanka, are currently utilizing this method of teaching in their MBA classrooms.

Digital learning helps our students to grasp concepts more quickly and fully, to connect theory and applicatio­n more adeptly, and to engage in learning more readily, while also improving instructio­nal techniques, leveraging instructor time, and facilitati­ng the widespread sharing of knowledge.”

He further explained “We are actively developing further improvemen­ts to our digital learning technologi­es to enable richer assessment­s, more nuanced feedback, customized pathways, increased modularity, more sophistica­ted simulation­s and enhanced interactio­n.”

ICBS presently uses digital assessment­s to offer students rapid feedback, allowing both students and instructor­s to access informatio­n and to concentrat­e their efforts on gaining further understand­ing of subjects. Simulation­s, visualizat­ions,and videos provide a richer learning environmen­t toward a fuller understand­ing of subject matter .Discussion boards, and online support provide additional forums for discussion, debate, conjecture, and edificatio­n.

Overall this methodolog­y promotes active engagement, hands- on experience­s and discussion­s and flipped classrooms that allow students to experience learning that applies best practices and directly employs current theories of learning.
