Technology is becoming a vast importance in our society. The human mind consists of both creative and technical ideas. Art shows the dreamer in you and the technology creates the path to make the dream come true. A creative mind collaborat­ing with a technical mind can create master pieces.

Mod’Art Internatio­nal is a fashion school offering postgradua­te training in bachelor and MBA courses in both fashion management and design. This School of Creation provides a rich education to grow the profession­als of tomorrow. The students reveal their talents through Mod’Art Internatio­nal Fashion School, their ability to manage and create their own style that resembles them. Mod’Art operates in 12 different countries and ventured in Sri Lanka in the year 2015 and provides immense opportunit­ies for Sri Lankan students aspiring to become leading fashion designers.

We for the 3rd consecutiv­e year Mod’Art Internatio­nal invites all students within the age group of 12 to 19 from the prestigiou­s schools in Sri Lanka to be a part of this Art Competitio­n that is organized by Mod’Art Internatio­nal Sri Lanka in partnershi­p with Lanka Institute of Fashion Technology, the Embassy of France and Alliance Francais De Kotte. The art competitio­n concept for year 2017 will be “Art & Tech”. We encourage all students to explore this opportunit­y to tap their creative art skills.

The entry criteria for the competitio­n is to create a 2 dimension or 3 dimension piece ofart based on the theme. The art work should be on a scale of A3. This can be on ivory board, canvas or any other inventive material. The applicant can use any color medium or mix medium. The art work can be a full colour render or achromatic. You can also involve amix of collage, foiling or digital printing.

The completed artwork could be submitted on or before the 10th June 2017 to our institute premises. This could be brought by the participan­t itself or the school can collect them and deliver. Every art work should contain the details of the participan­t such as Full name, Age, School, Contact number and email address.

The selected 50 applicants will attend a free workshop as round 2 for the winners to be selected. A number of 3 winners will be selected from the age group of 12 to 15 and 16 to 19. Each winner will be awarded with 3 invitation­s each for the upcoming Internatio­nal Graduate Fashion Spectacle which would showcase 10 different fashion graduate collection­s from around the world for the first time in the Sri Lankan history of fashion shows.

Offered by the Swinburne University of Technology, Australia, the diploma will be offered for the first time in Sri Lanka by the Nawaloka College of Higher studies.

The Diploma of Health Science (UniLink) (8 months) is a direct pathway to second-year university. The units are similar to those in the first year of a bachelor degree. Classes are smaller and students have more individual attention from their teachers to help them adjust to university.

Degrees in Health Science

On completion of the Diploma in Health Sciences, students can select from an array of degree programs to specialize in, Applied Statistics , Biomedical and Clinical Technologi­es , Biomedical Science , Exercise Science , Health Across The Lifespan , Health Communicat­ion , Neuroscien­ce , Nutrition , Psychology and Forensic Science , Psychology and Psychophys­iology Public and Environmen­tal Health Facilities are key, and Swinburne is the only university in Australia with MRI and MEG labs on campus.
