EDEMA, JEAN MARCH 12, 1943 - JUNE 2, 2017 JEAN (nee Lewis) born in Colombo. Sri Lanka went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Friday June 2nd 2017 surrounded by her loved ones at Surrey Memorial Hospital in Surrey BC. Predecease­d by her parents Lynden and Rachel, Jean is survived by her beloved husband; Olkie, son; Keith ( Minoli), daughter; Averil, grandchild­ren; Michael, Mitchell, Matthew, Brandon and Brooklyn, her brother Lyn ( Marlene). Jean touched many lives in her earthly journey in a quiet unassuming way. She was a wonderful wife, mother, mother- in- law, grandmothe­r and friend-loving, caring, compassion­ate, selfless and generous to a fault. A service to celebrate Jean's life will be held on Saturday, June 17th at 10.30 a. m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 14644, 72nd Avenue, Surrey, BC. STM 379532.
