-

Arden Institute, the educational partner of American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI) in Sri Lanka - following the successful launch programme of CGSP last year will host another Certified Guest Service ProfessionalR (CGSPR) Workshop on June 29 at the Royal Colombo Golf Club for the benefit of the hospitality professionals.

"With several certified CGSPs working in the front line of the hotel industry in Sri Lanka now, and adding a new dimension to the service standards here, there is a keen interest by lots of hospitality professionals to follow this programme and to become Certified Guest Service Professionals. It is for this reason that we are making this opportunity available to the employees of the hotel industry," says Nedra Wickremesinghe - Executive Director of Arden Institute.

She said guest service is thinking with "your heart while using your imagination to find ways to turn the guest service you provide into a story worth remembering."

The segment on tripadvisorR Reputation Management which is developed by AHLEI in partnership with tripadvisorR, provides clear information on how staff can encourage positive reviews by providing exceptional guest service, and some of the topics covered include, "where do negative reviews come from?, your impact on guest satisfaction, asking guests for reviews, review tools, management responses, taking ownership etc." Top Facilitator for the CHE (Certified Hospitality Educator) training in India and Asia for AHLEI, Gladvin Rego is the facilitator for the GSGR training workshop in Colombo.
