NAITA New Chairman Assumed Duties

Shehan Senewirathne assumed duties as the new Chairman of National Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority which is a pioneer Institute of Apprenticeship training that providing the service for over 45 years.

New Chairman assumed duties at NAITA with the presence of Honourable Minister of Skills Development and Vocational Training Chandima Weerakkodi and Honourable Deputy Minister of Skills Development and Vocational Training Karunarathne Paranawithana.

As the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of SMS Holdings, a leading company of Sri Lanka Mr.Shehan Senewirathne awarded from the best entrepreneur of Sri Lanka in 2016. He was the Chairman of Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminals Ltd. and a prominent entrepreneur who was bestowed from national and international awards.

D.D.Weerakkodi, former Chairman of NAITA, Director General of the Authority and the all members of staff attended for this ceremony of assuming duties.
