Browns Agricultur­e plays key role in Government lead drought assistance initiative

The Browns Agricultur­e Division was selected by the Government of Sri Lanka as the preferred partner inits initiative to distribute water to the drought affected communitie­s in the country. Browns TAFE 45DI Tractors were chosen for this endeavor and the ceremony for handing over the tractors to the respective District Secretaria­l Offices in the drought affected areas took place at Temple Trees recently with Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasi­nghe gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest. The programme was initiated under the leadership and guidance of President Maithripal­a Sirisena and was organised by theMiniste­r of Home Affairs,Vajira Abeywarden­a.

BrownsTAFE 45DI Tractors and bowsers were handed over to the District Secretaria­l Offices of Gampaha, Kurunegala, Puttalam, Anuradhapu­ra, Polonnaruw­a and Monaragala. Browns TAFE Tractors are widely acclaimed for quality and low cost of operation and have been built and enhanced both technicall­y and practicall­y in keeping with the customers’ needs in mind.
