Wisdom starts registrations for the first intake of CIMA MBA

London School of Marketing as a member of t he Char t e r e d Association of Business Schools ( CABS) offers a range of academic qualifications in the fields of Marketing, Business, Finance and Management, validated and approved by the industry leading professional bodies including EduQual and CIM. Over 3500 corporate companies have chosen LSM to provide the necessary skills to their employees including Barclays, Adidas, BBC and Apple to name just a few. In accordance with the professional relationship with LSM, Wisdom Business Academy was able to launch a Master in Business Administration (MBA) awarded by the University of Northampton redefining the versatile exposure that Wisdom provides its students. The MBA program will commence this September with August 31st concluding the registration window for this globally acclaimed and renowned academic qualification. The University of Northampton has also been awarded the TEF Gold accreditation by the United Kingdom Government for the superior standards they have preserved in delivering their academic programmes. The University was shortlisted for three years in a row in the ‘Business School of the Year’ category of the Times Higher Education (THE) Awards and it was also recognised by Higher Education Statistics Agency, UK as number one for employability amongst full- status universities in England in 2012.
The MBA requires a total number of 180 credits out of which 120 credits will be awarded for completion of CIMA, granting CIMA complete stu- dents and members the opportunity for direct entry to the second phase of the programme which carries two separate modules; Critical issues in Business and Business Research Project for which they carry 10 and 50 credits respectively. The MBA consists of a course duration of 06 months in which 06 workshops would be held on weekday evenings allocated in a manner that wouldn’t disrupt academic or personal commitments. The academic qualification is fully recognized by the University of Grants Commission ( UGC) of Sri Lanka and will be awarded as an Internal Degree program f rom the Unive r s i t y o f Northampton from which both the degree certificate and the transcript will be awarded. Online library access is also provided while in the meantime students would be given access to the award- winning learning platform of London School of Marketing.
