Through out the centuries Sri Lanka or ‘RathnaDeepa’ has been known to produce sparkling gemstones, and notable historical figures such as Ptolemy and Marco Polo have mentioned Sri Lankan gemstones in their works. In fact, Marco Polo, in his ‘ The Voyages and Travels of Marco Polo’, notes that Ceylon has the “best sapphires, topazes, amethysts, and other gems”.

Hailing from Sri Lanka- the land known as the Island of Gems- Raja Jewellers (Pvt) Ltd is no stranger to the range of dazzling gemstones found within Sri Lanka. A leading jeweller in the country since 1928, Raja Jewellers has produced numerous attractive jewellery using Sri Lankan gemstones, catering to the needs of generation upon generation of Sri Lankans.

The company offers several jewellery collections to the customer, from its wedding collection to the necklaces, pendants, bangles, bracelets, rings, and earrings that make up their formal and daily wear collections.

Distinct among its glittering collection of jewellery for their unique beauty is the colour stone jewellery. Making use of sapphires and Ceylon stones, Raja Jewellers have created jewellery that appears to have woven the colours of the rainbow into jewellery that suits any occasion.

The colour stone range contains necklaces, pendants, bracelets, bangles and other uniquely attractive pieces of jewellery that use gold, rose gold, white gold, platinum, 22 carat gold, and other valuable metals in their bases. The sapphire range, which makes use of precious gems contains every shade of sapphire, including blue sapphires, yellow, and green sapphires. The semi precious range contains jewellery inlaid with Ceylon gemstones. The jewellery is designed by the Raja Jewellers’ design team, but the company can accommodate the customers’ own designs as well. This jewellery can add an extra sparkle to your wardrobe, whether you are attending a formal function, a wedding, or simply wearing them in your day to day life.
