Congratula­tes Piumal Sebastian, an ANC graduate getting ahead in his career!

It was in spring 2014 Piumal joined ANC right after his A levels. He had studied in the science stream in the Sinhalese medium, yet he opted to follow the BBA in Management awarded by the Northwood University, the USA. However challengin­g this “transition” would be, Piumal maintained a GPA of 3.5 throughout his career at ANC, took home the High Achievers’ Award, and graduated in fall 2016. He is also a beneficiar­y of ANC’s Guaranteed Paid Student Internship ( GPSI) program, for he has been able to secure full-time employment in the same organizati­on where he worked as an intern. What’s more, Piumal is reading for his MBA awarded by the University of West London in collaborat­ion with ANC. “ANC assists students with setting and achieving goals that prepare them for rewarding careers and continued education,” Piumal says. ANC congratula­tes him on his accomplish­ments!

Q: You opted to follow a US degree in Business. How do you describe your experience at ANC as a freshman?
