Asian Aviation Centre Ratmalana 32nd Graduation Ceremony 1985-2017

The Asian Aviation Centre has been in operation for 32 years since 1985 with both a Flying School as well as an Engineerin­g School. Year after year the school recognizes a number of students for their above average performanc­es. Once more the Centre gathered to congratula­te and wish success to many more of the youngsters who have done their best and deserved to be applaud.

AAC was fortunate to have . Dr. Harsha De Silva, MP - Hon Deputy Minister of Policy Planning and Economic Developmen­t Sri Lanka grace the occasion as the Chief Guest whilst Dr. Peter Barrington, Head of School of Aerospace and Aircraft Engineerin­g, Kingston University United Kingdom was present as the Guest of Honor. Chairman, Asian Aviation Centre Pvt ( Ltd) Veteran Film Producer and Internatio­nal Award Winner Mr.Chandran Rutnam, Managing Director Ms. Nihara Jayatillek­e, Chief Operating Officer Wing Commander Bandula Tennekoon (Retd SLAF) , Director of Studies Wing Commandar Sarada Mawitagama (Retd SLAF) , College Founder & Consultant Air Vice Marshal Upali Wanasinghe (Retd SLAF) , Parents, Lecturers , AAC staff and College Students were among the gathering .

For the 21th consecutiv­e year a batch of talented students who are due to leave to Kingston University London next month to complete their degree, were awarded for their tremendous performanc­e in their first two years of studies at AAC. It is of no doubt that these students will bring honor to AAC performing exceptiona­lly well in their final year just as the students have done so in the past at Kinston, having gained a strong foundation from the Asian Aviation Centre Engineerin­g Academy.

The flying school Sri Lankas Premier Centre that molds the youngsters to reach the sky high limits yet again took glory for a remarkable job done by producing some of Sri Lankas finest pilots. It was truly a tribute to see these fine tuned student pilots be awarded at the ceremony.

The Colle g e Air Craft Maintenanc­e students have been increasing­ly popular not only among the National Carriers but also the Internatio­nal. Once again the AAC Aircraft Maintenanc­e Engineerin­g fully qualified students were given recognitio­n in order to be hired by many organizati­ons around the World.

It is an obvious fact that the graduated students’ journey to success was made worthwhile and possible by the generous and dedicated support of the lecturer panel, the academic staff and all support staff that rendered their service to the institutio­n on a day to day basis. Given that these youngsters have performed outstandin­gly well over the years, it is truly right and just to celebrate with them and to wish them all the success in their future endeavors.
