vidual student. International Partners with credibility NCHS is a guaranteed pathway to Swinburne University of Technology. The pathway programs are specially designed to prepare students for success in their further studies. On completion of a pathway program at NCHS, students can select the degree that they wish to embark on in the Swinburne campuses in Hawthorne, Australia or Malaysia.

Similarly, the California State University, Monterey Bay partnership will enable Sri Lankan students to study at CSUMB after completing the first two years in Sri Lanka. Students who join NCHS will directly enroll and be recognized as students of CAL STATE Monterey Bay. They too are given the option of choosing to do a degree of their choice on completion of the 2 years at NCHS.

The partnerships enable NCHS to offer a plethora of subjects to the students including Engineering, IT, Business Management and Health Sciences.

Best Academics and Facilities

NCHS offers the best facilities which include purpose- built engineering and computer laboratories, a resource-oriented library, study areas and ample parking space and reputed academics to administer the programs. The same syllabus, methods of delivery and evaluation as the partner university are followed, ensuring that the pathway programs conducted at NCHS are of the same standards and quality.

‘Industry-engaged, industry-informed’

What makes the programmes at NCHS unique is the relevance of the learning to the practical aspect of the subject. Swinburne has gained a reputation of being an ‘Industry-engaged, industry-informed’ university. The curriculum and teaching methodology has been designed to be relevant to the needs of the industry. Through the carefully designed curriculum, it was stated that the graduates who are produced are highly employable as they have the skill sets that are required for the world of work.

“The material, course content that is available at NCHS is exactly the same to what is offered at Swinburne. The preparation that the student receives while in Sri Lanka therefore preps the student to fit into a global environment with considerable ease” Dr. Alan Robertson, Dean of Studies, NCHS, explained.
