Founders’ Day Celebration

On Thursday 7th September, the British School gathered to mark the 23rd anniversary of the British School in Colombo with a special Founders’ Day Celebration Assembly.

In a celebration that showcased the remarkable talents from both the Junior and Senior Schools, we gathered to celebrate the work of the pioneering founders of our school; owners, teachers, students and their parents. We celebrated their vision of creating a school that strives to nurture outstanding young people who are robust academically and in all areas of competition, creativity, philosophy and sport.

In a special programme of dance and song, we remembered the founding philosophy of our school and the many individuals who have worked to shape it. The School Anthem rang out proudly in the name of fellowship and endeavour, as students, teachers and parents marked 23 successful years of BSC and looked toward an exciting future of many more successes.
