OKI Int. Wattala enters third round in Singer All-Island Schools Under-15 Cricket tournament Division III

OKI Internatio­nal School, Wattala entered the third round of the Singer All Island Schools Under 15 Cricket tournament Division III on an unbeaten record.

OKI Internatio­nal with two first innings wins and a no decision booked their berth to the 3rd round aided by fine batting displays exhibited right through the tournament by centurions Aaron Perera and Dinudu Perera. The bowling department was spearheade­d by Pradeev Muththulin­gam, Dinudu Perera, and Lochana Perera.

Each member of this fine allround outfit contribute­d to the best of their ability to reach the 3rd round stage of the tournament and are sure to hog the limelight in the final rounds.

Twin centurion Aaron Perera held the batting together with fine innings of 107 and 124 against Sangabodhi MV, Nittambuwa and Ananda College respective­ly. The other centurian Dinidu Perera’s century against strong Ananda College was of highest quality. Pradeev Muththulin­gam, Dinudu Perera and Lochana Perera kept the opponent batting line-up in check backed up by smart fielding.
