NFC chairman initiates cinema discussion
Theme is ‘ Politics of Cinema’ The latest of the series of discussion on cinema organised by the newly appointed National Film Corporation chairman, Sithendra Senaratne would be held at 3 pm on September 19 at NFC cinema hall.
The discussion on the theme of ‘ Politics of Cinema’ is participated in by f i l m m a ker Jaya n t h a Chandrasiri, film critic, Gamini Weragama and senior lecturer Dhamma Dissanayake.
The discussion is organised by NFC’s Cinema Cultural Division.
‘Premathia Jayathi Soko’, one of Prof. Ediriweera Sarathchandra’s renowned plays will go on the boards at 8.15 am and 10.45 on September 22 at the YMBA auditorium Borella. The play is a prescribed text for the Sinhala syllabus of the GCE Advanced Level examination. Jude Srimal organises the play.
