MAS sweeps the board

MAS Intimates swept the board at the Mercantile League Table Tennis Championship 2017 concluded at the S. Thomas' College Indoor Stadium tables.

MAS emerged champions in the Men's 'A' Division, Women's 'A' Division, Women's 'B' Division and Men's 'C' Divisions. In the Men's and Women's 'A' Divisions the champs expected stiff resistance from Seylan Bank Sports Club paddlers. Seylan Bank, a strong outfit consisting several fine performers never lived upto expectations going down tamely to a 0-3 defeat. Champions MAS made use of their experience and talent to win this highly competitive competition.

Twenty three mercantile establishments with sixty one teams participated at the this year's edition organised and conducted by the Mercantile Table Tennis Association.
