ANC Pathe Study Medicine - Systematic approach, Up todate strategy, and Expert advice

-

ordinary level, I had an opportunity to enter Vitebsk State University in Belarus to do pre medicine; ANC Pathe Study medicine helped me with processing . After completing the foundation programme, I have been successfully placed in the first- yeargeneral medicine at Vitebsk state medical University, Belarus.

I chose to study at VSMU because of the university’s excellent reputation and focus. The entire course is taught in Englishand all medical students receive modern medical education, which enables us to properly represent VSMU and pursue a Medical Career all around the World.

I have the exciting opportunity to follow a Post- Graduate Internship on specialties: medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, anaesthesiology and critical care medicine, paediatrics.

I receive support not only to pursue academic interests in my time at VSMU, but activities that support my academics such as lab experience. My lecturers are wonderful, and they are always happy to make time for me to discuss with me my future path as well as my aspirations.

With a strong support system for international students, I am able to capitalise on the opportunities available here to succeed as a future Doctor. Most of my friends are from other countries such Ghana, China, India and Uzbekistan. Regardless if it is studying at the student lounges, visiting historic and modern museums or having a group dinner together; it is truly an amazing multi-cultural Experience.

What is your favourite aspect of studying PreMedicine at VSU?

to learn and practice Russian under extremely skilled teachers.

The Pre-Medicine Program is designed with the prospective of reaching students in all circumstances: very enthusiastic students who wish to fast track their career or students who have demonstrated high academic potential but been unable to meet the subject specific requirements for entry on a local medical programme.

Looking back on your own pre-med preparation to study at VSU and the application process itself, what advice would you give to future applicants?

Experience living abroad! It’s something I think everyone should do, if they can. It makes you more resourceful, encourages you to try new things, lets you appreciate what it really means to ‘come home,’ etc.

I think it would be incredibly difficult to be motivated and successful if I wasn’t 100% sure that medicine was the career for me. So, make a conscious decision about your career and choose a reliable representative to assist you through the application.
