Students secure places in top global universities upon completing the Edexcel Advanced Level examinations
At the recently held Pearson Edexcel High achievers Award Ceremony at Mahinda Rajapakse NelumPokuna Theatre 302 award winners with 72 World Prizes were recognized for their exceptional performance at the May/June 2017 Edexcel examinations. The limelight of the ceremony was the students who successfully completed Edexcel International Advanced Level examination and secured places in top universities around the world. Universities inAustralia, Canada, East Asia, South Asia, Middle East/North Africa, Europe, Japan, New Zealand, UAE and USA recognize Pearson Edexcel qualifications for its comprehensive and flexible curriculum offered to students internationally and are confident of the quality and caliber of students that achieve Edexcel IALs.
Students who obtained 3A*s and above and students who won world prizes for IAL subjects have secured places in top universities such as; e have been sending students for Edexcel examinations for over twenty years. Our students’ outstanding results in these exams have enabled them to gain places at top universities around the world from Oxford and Cambridge to Harvard and Stanford. We expect all our award-winners this year to go on to enjoy similar success.”
Icongratulate Edexcel on their golden jubilee celebration in Sri Lanka. Gateway has had a long history of association with Edexcel. I recall my first meeting, almost 30 years ago, with ‘London Examinations’ in Russell Square. I have since, been witness to their impressive growth both in the academic and vocational sectors.
