Congratulations to those who passed the GCE Advanced Level examination 2017!!!

The Institute of Chemistry Ceylon has announced that A/ L qualified students have a final chance to make a late registration to join the internationally accredited Graduateship Programme in Chemistry offered by its College of Chemical Sciences at its own headquarters at Adamantane House at 341/ 22, Professor Sultanbawa Mawatha, Off Kotte Road, Welikada, Rajagiriya (near Post Office) ,The standard of this programme is equivalent to a special (honours) degree in Chemistry from any recognized university.

The ceremonial inauguration of this high quality and popular programme will be held on 6th January 2018 at 8.00 am. The chief guest on this occasion is Mr. Maithri Gunarathne Chairman/ Competent Authority, Lanka Mineral Sands Ltd. All those interested are requested to download free application forms and other details from the website www.ichemc.edu.lk or contact the above address (phone 0112861653/ 2861231) immediately. All such students will be able to commence this four year programme immediately and graduate with no delays whatsoever before the end of 2021.

Professor S P Deraniyagala, Dean of the College, states in a media release that those who join this programme will be able to pursue a postgraduate degree leading up to a PhD at any global University or obtain executive level employment in any part of the world. Over 300 of its students have obtained PG degrees and that includes about 100 who have obtained doctoral degrees.

Final orientation for 2018 intake will take place on December 31st Sunday at 9.30 am. Students who are attending the orientation programme will get a concession on the payment of the course fees.
