By following the AUTP, students can complete up to 2 years of university study at the American College in Sri Lanka and then transfer to a university of their choice in the United States and complete the balance subjects to obtain the BA or BSc degree. The American College offers over 140 subjects at the degree level enabling students to complete 1 or 2 years of university study in Sri Lanka in any discipline before they transfer in to the 3rd year at the US universities.
